Nine precious souls

Sparkles, Andrew, Mister Sister, and Tres were all brothers. They belonged to an elderly couple. Their owners died within a few weeks of one another. They were given to the pound, and no one wanted them. The rescue saved them from euthanasia.

They were the absolute sweetest cats ever. All would come up to you and cuddle, rub your leg, and meow happily. They were gems, and all of them were fat cats, and so gorgeous. Excellent cats, all of them happy, and they would run to say hi. They all enjoyed the petting and the loving.

Nico

Nico was rescued after birth. We bottle-fed him from day one of his life. He was a loving, happy, crazy cat that would give us a hug. He was my grandson’s favorite cat, and ours. He was very talkative and always the first to greet us. Nico liked to give love bites, never cutting skin, but he had the nickname Psycho Niico because of it. He was our cat.

Silver Collosso

Silver Collosso was also a lover. My kids like to call him Collosso. He was an excellent cat — extremely affectionate and loving. He, Andrew, and Nico loved to play together and play with each other’s tails. Collosso was so soft and cuddly, and he could tell when you were upset. He would let you know he loved you by rubbing against you and kissing you with his tongue, and Jumanji would be right there with him. Silver Collosso had a special talent of waving and giving high fives. What a personality.

Jumanji

Jumanji was a cat that came up to my daughter, stretched his paws up her leg and rubbed against her. He loved us unconditionally and was a lover. He would walk up and put his head in our hands, and talk to us. When we sat down, he’d be the first one in our lap. He had unlimited love to give. He was an absolutely wonderful cat that anyone would have been so blessed to have as a pet. There is no reason he shouldn’t have been adopted, other than he was 6 years old. This cat would be the comfort and joy and a beacon of light to anyone. We loved him so much, and he was a comforter to everyone.

Sir Meows A Lot

Sir Meows A Lot was a rescue as well. He got his name as a kitten because half of the day he would meow. He was the last of the litter of a cat who had gone into a lady’s garage and given birth. When they started walking everywhere, she couldn’t care for them, so we took them in. All were adopted but him. So we kept him, hoping he’d be adopted. Kittens usually get adopted fast, but black kittens are overlooked. He was a great cat and loved his daily pets and attention. He was also a very large cat, almost 25 lbs. A very happy kitty.

Bean

Bean was our beautiful anomaly. For a long time she was so scared of everything. As we cared for her and loved her, this beautiful side of her came out, and she began to trust us and loved on us.

We had one other cat who had some dental issues and was in pain and was taking her pain out on other kitties. Bean was the gentle soul that was so easy to pick on, so that’s what you see on her gorgeous face. That other cat is usually the most friendly, lovable cat, and after her dental surgery she is a happy girl.

Bean was the special little kitty that everyone adored, and after she came out of her shell, she blossomed into this happy cat that would purr and love on you. She really loved being in the catio, and it brought out this carefree and appreciative nature. Bean was the runt of a litter we saved and needed to stay with her sister, who is the cat that is nicely recovering from her dental surgery.

These cats had amazing personalities. They all deserved to be adopted. They really loved their life with our kitties. They brought so much joy and love into our lives, and it was an honor to foster the fosters. We miss our cats terribly, and they can’t be replaced. Nico and Bean. We ache.

My kids and I fell in love with the fosters. They were with us a long time, because sadly, most everyone wants kittens. All of them loved. All of them gems. All equally grieved.

ADOPTING A CAT

All these cats were gems — diamonds that people overlook because they’re over 3. By not knowing these cats or adopting these cats, people missed out on the most loving, caring, wonderful, amazing, lovable, cuddling cats. Kittens are only young for a year, and then they become cats. Sadly, many people get rid of their cats once they’re over a year. Please look at the cats that are up for adoption, and do not overlook them. Some of them are the best cats you could ever have. Please rescue a grown cat today and find that joy you’re missing. RIP my babies and my fosters. We loved you so very much. My kids and I love you, our angels.

RIP my babies and my fosters.

We loved you so very much. My kids and I love you, our angels. They wouldn’t let my kids and I up to let you all out, and my kids and I had to trust others to help you on that fateful day. My kids and I are so, so sorry. You didn’t deserve to go this way. My kids and I will miss you all forever.

Animals are sweet souls that do not ever judge. The only time an animal will cause someone grief and sorrow is when they pass over the rainbow bridge.

Grieving 9 of them is overwhelming. I am so heartbroken. You gave us so much unconditional love. I love you all so much. There aren’t any words. I ache inside says it all.
